Ozil an Easy target for British Pundits. Isn't he making them look so dump?

Paul Scholes slams Ozil for shirt swap? What a player Scholes was! greatly decorated, one of the best of his generations, but punditry? No Scholes - I don't really understand this but, I think Scholes should start thinking of better things to do than analyse soccer.

After watching Arsenal made an unprofitable win against AS Monaco in UEFA Champion’s League round of 16 on Tuesday, I stayed glued to my TV watching reactions from players, pundits and fans around the globe. The most annoying one came from Scholes who couldn’t talk any sense about Soccer but slate Mesut Ozil, a point I have failed to get up to now. One thing I discovered is that Ozil is always, I mean “ALWAYS” going to be slated for whatever, only English media knows. He is always at the receiving ends of all slating. Even when he almost made “the mission impossible” looked more possible (I am not saying he did it single handedly, I am saying he was Arsenal’s best player of the night), Ozil, still had to receive some sticks (his daily bread).

in recents months, I have seen weird headlines about Ozil especially after placing in some cracking preformance. Most number of goals assisted (Ozil lacks interests). Most distance covered on the pitch (Ozil is lazy). Most touches on the ball (Ozil is not world class, Henderson is) Most goal scoring opportunity created (Ozil is a luxury) Two goals assisted, a goal scored and 6 goal scoring opportunity created all in one match (Ozil is not justifying his transfer fee, may be Di Maria is.). Best game in an Arsenal shirt (Ozil is wrong to swap shirts, Kondogbia is right to ask for his shirt) seriously? He’s lazy. He’s a shirker who’s nicking a living. Pretty big labels for a player of Ozil status, huh?

Now let’s get the record straight, In 2012, Andre Santos asked to swap shirt with Robin van Persie during halftime break and the Manchester United former Arsenal forward gave him the shirt. Every pundit talked shit about it slating Santos while RVP was kept out of the discussion.

Now Kondogbia asks for Mesut Özil's shirt during halftime break and the world cup winner and former Galactico had no problem giving his shirt to Monaco's midfielder. Now bitter sadist, Paul Scholes and every “Big-mouth” pundits are slating Ozil keeping Kondogbia out of the discussion.

Is there anything wrong with Ozil giving his shirt to Kondogbia? I don’t think so. I thought there was something wrong with Kondogbia asking for Ozil’s shirt at halftime. Either way, I think there is still an important reason why he asked for Ozil’s shirt and not Gibbs shirts……… plus, aren’t there any other better things to discuss about on a UEFA Match day than just a simple shirt swap?

English soccer media and their Pundits could never get any funnier.....

Was Ozil Wrong in giving his shirt away at halftime? #TheDiscussionPoint.
